Terry Fox

Terry Fox inspires me because he was so motivated about running even though he only had one leg. Its amazing to see his dream move on and that shows how much a sport can do. It can change lives and motivate people to change the world. He will forever remain a Canadian hero.

Final Assessment Blog Post

1) Participation
I always have my gym strip and I am always there to participate. I'm sometimes late but its only for 5 minutes and thats always because I was changing. I always have another change of clothing to change into after I'm done. I've never missed a class for no reason the only time I missed a class was for Hot Yoga and that was for health reasons. If I've ever missed a class then I always had a legitimate reason for it. My activity level during games is as pumped as it is for any activity. I never judge an activity by its name or anything, I just know its PE and I should always participate no matter what. I am very motivated on choice days because I like to be able to do what I want, it makes me want to participate even more. Whenever we have choice I like to utilize the weight room because it has a mirror and I like to practice my dance their. Overall I'm changed always and ready to go.

2) Social Responsibility and Contribution to The Class
I always try to be as encouraging as I can with my peers in class. Many times I was with a group that didn't really want to participate and I tried my level best to make them want to participate. I talked to them and everything but in the end I just chose to play with another group. I help out with equipment when needed. I play fairly and I am always honest as a team member because this isn't the olympics and even if it was your should always play fairly.

3) Healthy Living
I've noticed a lot of changes in my fitness. Including being less physically tired from simple tasks in life. I am also more confident about my physical image then before.I eat a lot better then I did before like I drink more water and I eat more indian food like roti and lentils which is healthier then a burger. Recently I've been doing Bollywood dance 2-3 times a week for an hour for my cousin's wedding. I also practice my dace for an hour everyday so thats an hour a day plus 2 hours on the days that I have class because I practice after class for an hour as well. This is making me be able to do fitness for a longer period of time then before. My future goals is to be almost ripped and extremly healthy diet wise. I also want to be that mom at 7:00 in the morning running down the sidewalk with one kid in a jogging stroller and one in those pouch backpack baby holder thing totally burning off all that baby weight!

4) Digital Portfolio and Reflective Skills
I feel like I did good with blogs because I have over 12 blogs. Their all detailed and very honest. I feel like I put a lot of effort into my blogs to showcase what I learned as what I should have done better. I did blog posts of all the important moments in the class and I feel like I did well. I feel like I could have set more goals but I did that in my head throughout the course.

Update:My bangles are ready to go!

For the past few days I've been practicing a Bollywood dance for my cousin's wedding during PE and after school. During PE if we are in the weight room I utilize the mirror to see if I am executing the dance moves right (and to occasionally check myself out). After school I practice my dance for an hour. On Tuesdays and Thursdays (and occasional weekend classes) I have my actual dance class. It's for an hour and I am exhausted after. I come home after class and practice until I am completely winded and drenched in sweat. All this concludes with a warm shower followed by me passing the hell out in my bed. I am so pumped to learn my entire 5 minute performance because it's helping me stay fit. Below is the look that I'm going for. #nevergoingtohappen #yourcantimitateperfection
