Report Card Post

1. Action: My attendance has always been good in all areas of life (I`ve never skipped a single class of high school in my life.) If I`m late tell you why and if I`m away I bring a note. -I keep strip in a PE locker so I always have some clothes to change into. I wear strip every day because I have it with me at all times. -I feel like I like to try new things (not just in PE but in general life) so I`m always enthusiastic to something I`ve never done before. I would say I`m even more excited because it’s something I`ve never done, how cool is that to expand your learning and be able to say ``Yeah I did that once`` to my kids one day. -I went skating which was the highlight of the year for me because it made me nostalgic to go back to going to field trips again like the good old days. I want to attend every single field trip because that’s why I choose to be in this class. I feel like I try my level best in everything that I do and when there are block wide finesses I make the best of every class. 2. Contribution: -I feel like I bring a positive vibe to the class like I do wherever I am on this Earth. I like the idea of being a team member because it brings a sense of family to me. I love the fact that we are an all-girls class because girls rule and boys drool. -I feel like I`m a leader in this class because I motivate others to work out if they don`t seem that motivated. I try to spread that type of energy around. -With my decisions, many times I made a decision I instantly regretted but I changed it immediately and tried to make the right choice (with strip and what not.) -I feel like I`m a nice person and many people have described me as empathetic, I made a lot of new friends in this class and I talk to everyone because we are a team. -I love including people because it’s more fun when there are more people involved. -I feel like I make my class better because of my attitude and my enthusiasm. 3. Reflection: -I feel like I write a lot of blogs and that I put a lot of thought into them in terms of trying to convey exactly how I felt in that moment. -I feel like I deserve a high A (90 percent and above) because I do my blogs, I always have strip, I never skip class, I am enthusiastic about everything we do because that’s my general outlook on life. -I know that my strengths are things like Zumba, yoga, hill run, pond run and other fitness things we`ve done as a class and block wide. I know that my weaknesses are things like the insanity workout because I have bad upper body strength. -I feel like I am prepared for my interview because I have proof that I actually participated in this class.

Fencing and Hill Run

We did fencing last week and I was so pumped!!! Partly because of the fact that you get to wear an outfit that makes you look like an independent warrior! I was kind of scared that I would get really clostrophobic with the mask on my head but It wasn`t that bad. Other then that I was super excited and I had a good time trying something new. Yesterday we did the Hill Run and I felt like I had a good glutes and thigh workout because I can feel it in the lower part of my body all day yesterday and even still. Its like that moment were you worked out and you feel it the next day and your like ``YES IT WORKED!!!``.

Update

I feel like my attendance is good because I think I’ve only been away maybe once. I feel like I am prepared to put in effort and I try to everyday. I’ve never been totally negative about any PE situation (to the point where I skipped or did completely nothing). I feel like the lowest I’ve been is maybe eighty percent willing to participate for a class or two. I feel like I bring a positive girl power, togetherness vibe to the class as that’s the way I always am. I like to be positive about new things because again, that’s how I am in real life. If I know a certain activity is not something I’m that skilled in then I approach it the exact same way as if I was comfortable with the activity (not just in PE but in general life). To make our class better I can encourage more people to do good as well. I can also be even more positive.

Dance Week

During dance week we did line dancing, bhangra, hip-hop and Zumba (not jazz as we went skating). Line dancing was fun because it makes you feel like cow folk and that’s my jam. After that we did bhangra and I was like girl that’s the dance of my people holla so I enjoyed that fully and the most. Then we did hip-hop (yes this is not in chronological order) and I obviously have no rhythm because my genre is more graceful and sometimes fast paced Bollywood dancing (in my room by myself). We also did Zumba which is very expressive and I like that very much. I showed up to all classes and performed as good as I could.
